Special Program for Students Enrolled in Immersion Schools and Homeschooled Students

French Immersion Program from Home

Due to COVID-19 and the need for social distancing, many weekday schools are switching to a virtual model of instruction.

To support students enrolled in French immersion programs or homeschooled during these difficult times, we have developed special classes tailored to their needs.

Our goal is to complement- thanks to our long and unique experience teaching French at an advanced level in an after-school program setting - the instruction these students receive from their regular schools or programs and help them deepen their understanding of the French language.

In this special program, students are engaged in active learning with their teachers, working collaboratively online with their peers ...learning, and socializing in French together, too.

—— Program Description——

  • This program takes place twice a week during the school year.
  • Each session is 75-minutes long.
  • The program is taught by experienced native-speaker teachers familiar with French immersion programs.
  • Small groups of students of the same age and level in French are placed together.
  • Our curriculum helps children review what was done in their regular class and also provides the additional knowledge they need to fully master the French language.

——Practical Organization——

Students meet virtually twice a week during 32 weeks between September 14, 2020 and June 4, 2021.

All information and support documents are easily available to facilitate planning and organization via our dedicated family portal and intranet.
